How necessary is it to have a dance group perform on most of events? Do we really need to see professionals dance or do we want to dance to good music? I never understood this concept of calling dance group on such occasion. But this time I met them to know more about them.
Sachin sir was very jolly kinda person & happy to meet me when told him I am from LASTBENCHERS movie team. hw quickly introduced me to his team. Nadeem, Avi and Spiky were boys and Ameesha, Monica and Sweety were girl dancers. They all were under 24 yrs and knew almost all dance forms. They were under Sachin sir since 2 yrs and known as “Dancing Birds”. Girls were very reluctant to talk and share info about them but guys were full on energetic.
I warned girls if they didnt talk to me I will post worst comments about them, but they didn’t find any words. Spiky was interesting, just as his name. Nadeem looked cute and was youngest of all.
They kicked show with welcome dance on “Signal, pyar ka signal” song from Bhagam bhag movie. but they didn’t get enough attention as crowd was yet to fill lawn. They continued with 3 more dance performances and did small portion for RJ Mona’s “Aaj ki raat ” song she sang.
They performed on 8 songs that they have prepared. Later they were cheered and boosted by crowd.

I think they had a very good chance of setting the tempo and mood for night. I am not saying they didn’t try but they could not succeed. After mid night I met Sachin sir and Nadeem, they looked impressed by our work and especially Prajakt’s speech, his energy and dream of form film industry here in Nagpur.
