After
a lot of Dance performances, Singing performances, Live Dhol and DJing, it was
time for some “hutke stuff”. I Think
Rj Mona had no idea what this next Dude is gonna do otherwise she would have
introduced him with many cautionary instructions.
I was at back stage having some discussion with
my Aniket and Junaid when he entered on stage. I called him “he” because Rj Mona
didn’t introduce him properly, she forgot his name or didn’t know it. He was
carrying two burning bottles. He didn’t waste even a single min in introducing
himself and soon started juggling both bottles. I can see girls and women doing
ooohhhs and aahhhs as he was juggling. He was focused and at ease. He kept
changing the speed and ways of juggling them.
At
one point he was doing it so ferociously that I was awed. I walk toward front
stage without taking my eyes off from him. Then for first time he missed
bottle, I felt as I skipped a beat. But he picked it and continued as nothing
happened. Group of guys standing beside me were equally awestruck by his
performance. They even whistled to cheer him up, but he missed another catch
and bottle fell out of his grip. This time there was loud gasp of
disappointment.
Then
he asked for third bottle and did three bottle juggling acts. It was real
breath taking moment for all of us. I knew he had few blunders but he didn’t
let it affect his act. He managed to keep himself compose and entertained all
of us. Every one standing or sitting there was holding there breath till he
finish his performance.
