RJ MONA!!!

I don’t know if I was lucky but I was offered coffee by RJ Mona of Radio Mirchi 98.3 fm Aurangabad station. I count it as one of perks i enjoy as part of my job.

It was not planned as i didn’t know she is RJ and was invited to co-host show and perform on few songs. I was searching for the person holding list of performers and their schedule coz i need to make few changes and i bumped into RJ Mona and asked her if she is the one as she was holding piece of paper with something written on it. She denied and I was obliged to ask who she is and her answer was an opportunity to open conversation. fortunately a waiter came with two coffees, she grabbed one and offered other to me. Yaha aap ko lag sakta hai ki shuruwat main jhoot bol raha tha but coffee ke liye to ussi ne pucha.

After this small meeting I didn’t get any time to meet her and chat.

Rj Mona was the only person to be seen and heard all night, thanks to her singing talent and anchoring which she managed to do well. Her voice was not of excellent quality nor was her ability to hold crowd attention. Only saving point of her night was her masti bhare comments during Live Dhol. She managed to crack audiences with funny and catchy comments. After that she invited few couples on stage asked them weird questions like “Who was your first cruch?, What’s count of your girl friends? ghar pe biwi ki chalti hai ya aapki? ”

When Prajakt and Moreshwar Meshram sir delivered speech, she managed cajole them for break in movies. As we were getting close to mid night, she was losing her voice to cold and sore thro. But she kept her spirit and energy high till end coz i didn't see her after midnight. One reason could be I was busy dancing with friends.

Given a chance to meet her again before we left I would have told her she has good skills but poor dress selection and maybe Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM is Hot!!!! but she is not. but what she has is charm to entertain people and smile make things easy for her...
