Till this time I have been sharing my past experiences of working with Prajakt Rebeloma and being part of Lastbenchers movie crew. Now Its in final days of completion. But as I have said earlier every end is another beginning and so today My another journey has begun.
I have part of a team who has been chosen to do a 20 day short film project. Right from conceptualizing an idea to final delivery of movie we have to do everything within 20 days starting from today. And most important thing is that this film if gets completed will be sent to as many short film festivals as possible.
So my day had a kick ass start followed by 3 hrs long meeting & discussion with team. Everyone was equally enthusiastic and willing to do his best. Vikram Zeallion did a great job of undertaking responsibility of making dept teams. Ritesh Wadibhasme was chosen as Director of movie with Sandip Rokde as main D.O.P. along with Milind & Dayawan Nagrale as Executive Producers, Roshan Hukare as Make up artist cum Casting Director cum Art Director. I was chosen as script & screenplay writer. Few others who are also included in team are Pawan Piprode as Post production head, Sandip Tirpude as Production manager and Lucky sir as Coordinator.
As we came to conclusion of meeting I hoped for better tomorrow & enriching experience. Then me & Ritesh went to my flat to discuss about story. He didn't like any of my ideas or even stories I had written. We went through some award winning short films but still nothing clicked our minds. After a short nap Ritesh woke me up to tell one of his roughly written story and I liked it even after his bad narration style. I could see this story as big winner for us, maybe I am exaggerating but honestly those were my reactions when I first heard it.
We agreed to do few changes to fit our requirements and make it more interesting . Now I wonder how did Ritesh got such an amazing story idea? Though we haven't wrote a single word on celtx I am very confident we will make it best till date.
Excitement awaits, Some heart aching failures & very few pleasing smiles awaits. We have begun a journey where you are part of it, whole universe is part of it and let's see what rest of 19 days have in stores for us.
